Hi,

I’ve created a space where every messages (political, technical, everything) should be heard using the Bitcoin blockchain OP_RETURN feature: theblocknote.eth.link

Yes. Basically it’s built upon the Bitcoin OP_RETURN protocol which enable any protocol to be embedded. You can use a minimum of 0.00001 BTC to send a message or vote on previous messages sent though the Bitcoin layer.

I think $1.11 to write in the most secure. most used. most trustful blockchain in the world is actually cheap but again that’s my opinion and you can be against it.

being this a ppc forum after all, did you know a few books are already written on peercoins blockchain? for the cost of pennies

Those were some wild times. https://immutable.place/ also stores data on the blockchain.

To be honest, though, I still think it’s awkward storing things on the blockchain… Peercoin is a cryptocurrency, emphasis on the currency use case.

Would anyone be interrested in a dashboard for Peercoin for adding immutables messages and create decentralized concensus poll? I’ve read that adding OP_RETURN data to Peercoin is free right?

The OP_RETURN data has to pay the same fee as any other transaction. You might be thinking of the increased standard OP_RETURN data limit of 256?

Ah, I see what you mean. You can send 0PPC to an address but you still have to pay the transaction fee.

My guess is Bitcoin blockchain technology is a tool for free speech. It looks really extreme to get to this conclusion but from what I understand it.

What will happen if anyone is allowed to write on it without ANY interruption ? How would you handle scam or illegal content ? How would prevent hate ? But in the same time it’s the perfect decentralized consensus voting system with fair rules.
