i’m currently mining xpm to beeeeeer pool using normal binaries i compiled
is there a way to use the primecoin hp11 for pool mining?

if so what’s the proper way to compile it and setup it for pool mining?

hi,
first i’m sorry for the (VERY) late reply…

@Alex3321:
this is the primecoin thread for beeeer!!

@Conurtrol:
send me a PM, and sign a message with your address using the original primecoin client

@masterkain:
unfortunately not, as you’ll not be able to verify that you’re the owner of the primecoin address.
you can either keep mining on that wallet and hope for the best OR wait until i implement the manual-payout & pay-abandoned-addresses function to the pool, but i dont have an ETA for this yet.
so you’ll have to be patient.

@simonc:
this is not possible atm as the pool’s using a custom protocol for miner-pool-communication
but the ‘official’ primeminer is based on mikaelh’s miner…

hi there, escuse me for my bad english, its not my native language.
Can someone help me? if so, there is my question:
i have 3 pcs mining on beeeeer.org, all 3 pcs transfering XPM to 1 wallet,
i am checking my coins at http://xpm.syware.de/?a=“my wallet”
how can i know if all 3 pc`s a working.
for example on ypool i see how many workers i have.

Can i check somehow how many workers connected on beeeeer.org??

Thank you.

I am trying to connect to the pool with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ltcminer.miner&hl=de
I can not figure out how to configure it. I tried : port number so beeeer.org:port and then my address as user and PASSWORD as password, didnt work. Any ideas? This could be really cool, to mine with your phone!

That is a litecoin miner, not a primecoin miner.

"

Yes the name of the app is LTC miner, however it just uses the CPU of the phone. I have connected to 256 and scrypt pools with it and it mines. No results because it is much to slow though. Therefore it should work with primecoin or protoshares since they are cpu coins. IF there is a primecoin or protoshare android miner then please let me know.

Hi all,

Very new to the mining 'biz… I couldn’t find an answer to this in this thread so far, so here is my question:

I am trying to understand the data presented in the beeeer.org/payouts/XXXX screens. I can search for my wallet ID in these block-specific payout variable dumps, but i am not sure what prev / add / next are referring to.

I am trying to reconcile my earned XPM with the data I see in these payout screens but I am not sure what these specific sections in the data refer to.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

There is no such thing as a “cpu coin.” Sure litecoin was intended to not work well on gpu’s, but gpu’s still get an order+ of magnitude better performange on gpu’s.

primecoin does not use scrypt or sha-256 which is why it is not working. There are only a couple of miners available for Primecoin at this time and I doubt Andriod/ARM is high on the priority list right now.

I think you are looking for http://www.beeeeer.org/user/address-goes-here that will show your current balance

http://xpm.syware.de/?a=address-goes-here will show you more detailed information

Hi

Just started on this - I’ve got the miner up and running OK, and submitting pts shares. Running on an 8 core i7 (920), I’m seeing around 110 c/m, 2.0 sh/m.

My question is - how long roughly will I need to mine before I start seeing anything at the balance here?

http://ptsweb.beeeeer.org/user/Pq3v5ag52s5KKSgne44YeuPf7Yae1G2bSQ

Just wanted to check - I’ve been mining stuff with cgminer and bfgminer in pools for 6 months or so now, but not had so much luck with pools where you can’t log in and check the hashrate (tried some quark stuff, couldn’t find a pool that worked for me).

Thanks

Darren

I’d give it an hour or so

this also give a lot more information until the pool gets a better internal stats view.

syware.de

Your’s will come up as invalid untill the pool has confirmed your first share.

No I know about those pages for balances, but I am more trying to understand what components of the /payouts/1234 data contribute to those user/address totals.

Hi,

I’m minning on beeeeer pool from a PC and a VPS. From the VPS, all works fine
But from my PC (Windows 8), I can’t connect to the pool.

I tried all your IP, and the port 80,443,1337 and 13337.

I’m at home, so my network should not be block (I also try without Firewall).
I can connect to Rpool but not to Beeeeer.

Does any one know what is the problem and own to solve it ?

Thanks

Thanks - I’ve been running it for a couple of hours (seeing 1.6 shares/min), still get nothing at the balance. Just wondering if the balance should read something by now, even if it is 0.00001 or something minimal? What are others seeing, in terms of decimal points?

this is the primecoin thread
your address (Pq3v5…) is a protoshares address

dont use a protoshares address on the primecoin pool/stats and vice versa!!

you’ll see your first stats on the protoshares page (and thus on Sy’s PTS stats) when the first block you’ve participated in has been found. this is highly depending on luck of the pool and can take a while.
the primecoin pool is working a little different (cppsrb) and it should take just a few minutes until you see your first stats on the primecoin pool.

please, use the protoshares thread for questions on beeeer’s protoshares pool.

Twice now mining XPM (once under two different addresses) I’ve been watching the stats on SyStats only to see my current balance get up to ~2.9 and then rollover on the next entry without paying. I waited the first time for a few days and it never came through, now it’s just happened again on my new address. Any advice? It’s occurred on each of these addresses:

-Edit --> That is the fastest customer support I have ever seen. Issue resolved.

Sorry, yes, realised that shortly after posting; there is a link somewhere from the protoshares page that led here, probably indirectly. Anyway, I’ve already posted on the right thread, apologies again.

Doesnt sound like ARM is the problem, just want to know what I should type into the program. The program is using the CPU ,not a GPU and not ASIC.

Couldn’t find a thread for http://xpm.syware.de/ so trying here.

My stats there haven’t been showing up for at least a week. They were working initially, and just get an error now ‘Diese Präsenz ist leider nicht verfügbar’.

http://beeeeer.org/user/ARGFDFbX3J886twn3c6pdB1TynREGUuUVk are my stats on beeeeer.org, showing I currently have 1.3 xpm.

http://xpm.syware.de/?a=ARGFDFbX3J886twn3c6pdB1TynREGUuUVk is the same address on spyware.de with the error.

this is what I’m seeing: http://i.imgur.com/F3rs74L.png
