My mistake then, must have had it cached or something. Been trying it for a week with and always that error with my address, but fine with others. ctrl+f5 fixed it.

Thanks.

i am asking again, can i somehow see how many workers are mining for my account??
Thank you.

@nr1sp31337:
use the “minerid” parameter for your miners

http://beta.beeeeer.org/index.php?p=user

but dont tell anyone about that url (W-I-P), yet

oh, wait… ::slight_smile:

i knew it, Sy

Has anyone else had the Windows 64-bit miner classed as a virus by their av?

I had been running it fine on my computer for about a month then checked it today to find that Avast had quarantined it. >:(

It states the virus as Win32:Malware-gen

Ok, I guessed it was a false positive, I had used your link in the official announcement to download it, just thought it would be best to ask as this is the first coin I have mined.

I will re-download from your post just to make sure.

Thank you for the reply.

I just wrote a calculator script to determine how many PTS I’m mining on beeeeer and its results disagree with my payouts.

According to the user page:

Total mined: 1.73728 PTS
Current balance: 0.05601 PTS
Unconfirmed: 0.00741 PTS

Total paid into my wallet: 0.812638 PTS
Total missing: 0.861222 PTS

I am sure there is a logical explanation for this, that I just happen to be missing … but it would be nice to know if this is normal before investing in a mining rig.

beside the fact that you haven’t provided us with any useful information like a url or your payout address

this is the primecoin forum / thread, please use the protoshares thread for everything related to protoshares

ps. did you check a public blockchain website according your address’ balance, maybe your wallet is out-of-sync?

im mining on digital ocean

I have the 4 core version, my Primes/s and my Chains per day just decreased by 50%

My cpu is still in full use all 4 cores.

Whats going on?

Normally get 990 - 1100 primes/s about 0.5 chains a day now it’s 550 - 600 and 0.25 chains a day.

Edit: I made an Ubuntu VM instead and so far so good.

Hi xolokram,
I’m trying to cloud mine with Windows Azure using a Windows Server 2008 VM and I’m wondering how to get past this point (same thing happens with US address):

I’m not sure which ports are needed (9912 & 1337?), but I’ve opened a bunch in the course of troubleshooting:

Thanks for any help

Yep, It’s the law of averages.

I had an answer typed out to help troubleshoot the problem and this, ironically, was the first suggestion :stuck_out_tongue:

As a side note, you may want to use screen shots and imgur.com for pictures. simply ctrl-v on the imgur webpage to start uploading. I’d be nervous to use dropbox links in fear of going over my transfer limit.

So it seems that there is a problem with Windows and the pool. (Works with rpool) Strange ?
It works fine with a linux OS, but why not Windows, that is the big question ?

Hello everyone,

I’m mining on differents vps since 2 weeks now, and today I decided to buy a dedicated server for one month.
It has a Xeon so I think it can mine fast but I have a problem.

The miner start, It says : Work RECEIVED… But i don’t get any primepersec info, and my cpu usage is 0% (It should be 600%, i set 6 genproclimit)

I see the 6 process for mining when i type “htop”, but they are all 0% usage

Any ideas why ?

The server was in debian 6, I updated it to Debian 7 and used my script to install xolominer and all it’s dependencies like I did on all my vps.

Same thing Here …im running 5 single CPU Droplets the $5 a pop version on Digital Ocean…i was getting 500 primes per sec i am now getting less than 200… is this something to do will Difficulty rising or is the pool down …its not a CPU problem all still running between 60 and 70%

Maybe because the difficulty just hit 10 ? http://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=1617.0
