NuBits: a Peershares implementation coming soon

The Peershares implementation and extension my team has been working on will be known as the NuBits project. It provides something which the cryptocommunity has desperately wanted and needed for years. There are presently no implementations or competitors with a production system up and running to meet the need. It will be a ground breaking release. Some might even call this the most important development in the cryptoasset space since Bitcoin was released. Others will disagree, but there will be a consensus that it is an historic development in decentralized finance.

As many of you know, I have not felt comfortable selling a product that doesn’t exist. This will not be an issue preventing investment or broader participation in the NuBits project much longer. Soon we expect to have our production network and client up and running, at which time we will begin to look for investors who would like to purchase our Peershares and participate in the NuBits project. Potential investors will receive extremely detailed information about the NuBits project and a client they can use to connect to the production network. This wave of investors will be people who have demonstrated a capacity to benefit cryptoasset projects such as developers, marketers, testers and active forum participants. People who purchase our Peershares will be business partners, so we want to select them carefully. Later we will sell shares to people who’s primary contribution is financial. All proceeds from the sale of our Peershares will be used in the interest of shareholders, particularly for operating and development expenses. We expect the project to be very well funded and experience explosive growth.

Finally, I will confirm that we will be distributing dividends as Peercoins. We expect to need quite a few Peercoins to accomplish this.

Your statement above about how important this is, is pretty crazy (In a good way!) I look forward to finding out what this is when it’s done! Do you want me to spread around your announcement here on Peercoin channels? What about BitcoinTalk?

i understand that you will need PPC investment (like an IPO thing) and then return the investment throuth dividents
like AM (Asicminer) did with his IPO. (i am sure he could benefit big time from peershares)
then i am in

I hope this project enjoys great success!

The stylized “N” logo David posted is very attractive too.

Is that logo from my designer David?

I suppose this is the official subreddit? http://www.reddit.com/r/nubits

EDIT: oh and thanks for the good news. I’m ultra excited to find out what its all about. i x my fingers that I will be allowed to participate in the IPO.

can’t wait to see the technical details.

That banner is cool looking!

Exciting developments are happening faster than ever. I remember waiting over half a year for a new client release. As stated by Jordan previously the days of slow development for Peercoin are over

Awesome, this project has so much potential, can’t wait

I’m a small fish in terms if ppc holdings but I’m definitely interested in being an investor!

At first i thought its one of those nxt logo

Jordan, what steps are you guys going to take to get the word out? You say this represents something that could be as important as the release of Bitcoin. When this is revealed and ready to be invested in, do you have a strategy for making this the news it should be?

Yes, this is very important. If this is really that big of a deal, I don’t think starting forum threads will suffice. We’ll need to go bigger than that. I gave David access to our new PR/Media contact list in case you need to make use of it to get the word out.

best of luck with everything guys! -jmz

This does indeed sound big. Best of luck with this one, if only I were a rich man… I’ll be watching out for the details.

I’m afraid you misunderstood the original post:

I was saying here that some people might consider the NuBits project the most important development in peer to peer finance besides the release of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is clearly more important as an advance in technology. Others will disagree and say Peercoin or an asset exchange remains the most important development since Bitcoin, not NuBits.

I was speaking a few days ago to a chap who runs a well known website that sells coins, and he said one of his main problems was finding people who wanted to sell alt-coins, including peercoins. In fact, he said so few people were selling, he saw little future for alt-coins, as not enough were getting into circulation.

That made me wonder: how do Peercoins “get out”. Presumably, people mine and mint them, but how do we make sure enough circulate out to satisfy the anticipated demand arising from Peershares/NuBits?

you probably have to buy shares with peercoins?
