then mine on the XPM pool (very close to upgrading).
Kai, remember that the pool has high varience, so your profit will be low sometimes and high others. If you find a block, for example, you will probobly get at least 1 XPM as a reward - immediately.
On another note,
XRamPool MMC is back! If you are someone with a nice, shiny processor, then it would be in your best interests to consider mining for this currency. Here is a profitability calculator and a (somewhat incomplete) CPU database: http://agran.net/memorycoin2_calc.html. As an example, my Intel 4771 can only get 0.23 USD a day, as opposed to 0.43 USD a day if I mined memorycoin.
Visit the tutorial at the MMC forum if you are interested: https://www.mmc-square.com/index.php?topic=32.0
The pool node we offically host is: http://xpool.xram.co:8080/. Fee is only 1%, and we work to maximize efficiency as much as possible.
Though I ported P2Pool for Memorycoin, the credit goes to forrestv for his amazing work on the original pool code, so kudos to him.
we are having some problems with the XPM pool at the moment.
I have disabled the AJAX stats at the top of the page until the problem is fixed. That is what the problem is.
you can still query your shares, payout, and other information via the individual stats page, and mining still occurring.
Please let me know if you are having trouble with any other part of the service.
I can’t get anything in the way of stats from the XPM site.

OK, sorry, try again
Partial support for page AJAX has been restored.
Full pool support (possibly not in the same form) will be restored on the upcoming XRamPool 2.0, which is going along quite well.

Seems to be fine now, I was just running there while we were having some probs on DTC. Now just running long enough to get past the .5 payout limit…
Thanks!

ORLY?
the pool will lost connect…

Yeah, none of my miners have been able to connect to any of the xram.co sites for days.
Seems that once they started building some new websites, all of the mining quit working.
Is there going to BE mining sometime in the future, or should I go elsewhere?

The Datacoin pool is having some major problems. It has been very frustrating.
Yes, we are still working on the new pool. It will be much more reliable, we are just waiting on a couple more things in order to get it going. I have been seriously considering closing the pools temporarily until we finish the new pool software, but the XPM pool still works (no blocks for a long time because of the difficulty rise).
I will try to have a report by tomorrow.

What’s the payout threshold of this pool? I mean DTC
It will payout at 0.5 as well, and much more reliably.
what about dtc , have not payout some days…
That is why I mentioned the improved reliability.
hmm… the pool always lose the connection :-\
Eadword… I think you are confusing people.
Yes, DTC pool is having many problems. We do have our secondary pool for right now.
Rots, the current and future payout threshold is 0.5 DTC, XPM, anything.
Is dtc2 pool permentlly shutdown? I still has some DTC coin in it.

All seems to be working fine for me on the DTC pool.
Please don’t shut down the DTC pool.
And, Let me say in support of the development effort: rock on!
