I’ve been mining DTC on the XRamPool, and I haven’t been getting the payouts. I currently have 20.9 DTC confirmed. How long does it take to payout? I have confirmed DTCs for a few days now.

OK, the payout problem has been resolved and your balances should now be in your wallets.

How do I setup multiple miners?

a) Different address for each.
b) Using “-minerid #” option

Just going to point this announcement out here - we are finishing up our new version of XPool which will be highly distributed and more efficient. At long last - XRamPool will be much less buggy and more beautiful with a new web interface. IT will also be more distributed and have a more efficient mining protocol.

Expected time of being ready is a week or so from now.

There will be another thread for this release. Stay tuned. I think this may be a good revolution for XPM and DTC.

You should be able to get away with simply connecting, no miner ID needed and no new address required.

Hey guys,
I really have been generally happy mining on your pool, however something has gone wrong with getting my payments out to my wallet.
In truth, I DON’T know if it’s related to your other issue, I just stopped getting paid on 4/4/14.
Could you look into this please?

My wallet address is : DP5qwVnf2sdJ8Z3FNJovz3whtAk1K4s4oY
Balance: 144.015475
Unconfirmed: 213.167599
and I am mining on : dtc.xpool.xram.co

thanks

Sorry about this happening again, however it is the same thing that happened to DTC2 and will be resolved shortly. Again this is why we are working in the new pool which is nearing completion.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it, and I’m looking forward to the new pool.
Could you give me an estimate on when this will get resolved please? (trying to decide if I need to get all of my miners moved)
Thanks

All right guys, DATACOIN is DEAD

Same here, no payouts on dtc.xpool.xram.co .

Balance gets confirmed but it never gets transferred.

Hope it gets fixed as soon as possible.

Still no payouts for days.

Can we have an official statement from the pool ?

Hey pool operator,
I would love some additional assurance that all is well and that “resolved shortly” means something sooner than later.

Pool opperator

Again this is why we are working in the new pool which is nearing completion

so sounds like completely new pool will be up… so give the developer some time, he has served you all very well up to now so no reason for him not to continue to work hard for the community.

In all honest frankness, Fuzzybear, I felt that my statement DID offer the developer some time, appropriate respect and even somewhat workable grammer (somewhat) so, I don’t think your comment could possibly have been intended for me. Additionally, I DO feel that the term “shortly” implies a time frame of something LESS than “days”. While the developer (or others) MAY not agree with that, again, I hoped that my comment might stimulate conversation and get me the assurance I flat out asked for or clarity at least instead of an argument. So much for my hope every single board and forum on the internet is always the same. I am dismayed that I felt like I needed to defend my comments, but I don’t much care for social networking or chat boards or forums of any kind, flamers torque me beyond all that is reasonable, and I WOULD like the pool operator to respond (* yeah, frequently) in order to keep me in my “warm fuzzy” zone.

In closing I suppose I should use the magic word here, so PLEASE don’t flame out at me, I WAS being both polite and respectful.
Have the best day the universe can throw at you.

Thank you for your consideration, and the problem will be fixed by tomorrow, remember, the money was not lost, just not paying out because of one of the glitches with this dilapidated software.

I work for http://dtc.xpool.xram.co/, with 2 CPU, the same speed 1 chains / d, but one I get 4 times less profit, why is this happening?

hey ozbayne,

no please don’t missread my statement, I was replying to the thread as there were a few people wondering what the status of the pool was and I was just trying to give some re-assurance that the pool operator has been very loyal to primecoin and the community and that at this point there is no indication that there is a scam going on. But your post drew my attention to the pool and I will be keeping an eye to make sure this matter is resolved.

Agreed it is always best for updates and info to come direct from the dev behind a project, but I was trying to highlight to some other less patient users who do not code that coding takes time to get it right and done well. Personally i know it can be hard from a developers point of view to give updates as bugs are unknown sometimes and improving performance issues etc, and it is all too easy to get buried deep in code and forget to update threads of current progress. I’m sure that the dev is like myself and pretty much everyone else in the community that this is not their full time job so evening and weekends are the time that dev happens in crypto world.

It upset me that so many people feel flamed or abused or scammed off the bitcointalk forum and hence I wanted to try start a more friendly community here for Peercoin and Primecoin. You are a genuinely appreciated member on this forum for sharing your opinions and asking for updates so please do not feel this was directed directly at you. Everything you say is valid as well in that it does not take much to give frequent updates… even if its just to say “slow progress on pool today no bugs fixed but team of developers is working on it” that is much better than no news at all leaving everyone in the dark. I think the loose term “shortly” could be interpreted as couple of days or weeks or months tbh… if you interpret shortly as a few days then question why the person did not say a few days. Agreed though this loose term is missleading and probably is what caused the confusion. I am not sure english is the pool operators first language as well… sheesh sounds like i am defending the dev here but just a fellow dev aware of how wording can be misconstrued and how long coding something that is stable can be and how time pressured devs are. Also the running of a pool is a LOT of responsibility as all the miners expect everything to work corectly 24/7, expect support 24/7 and payouts with no risk of hacking… if any of these goes wrong then the miners on the pool are loosing money on electricity bills and hardware costs etc so there is always a shit storm when a pool is down or not working correctly and the dev needs to be able to fix it quick or the pool will just loose all the miners.

You have the power to vote your opinion as well by choosing where to mine… agreed there are not as many choices as one may like but there are other options for Primecoin pools.

hopefully the dev should announce something soon on this thread and clear up any confusion and give some fixed time scales for the new pool, this would make everyone happy right? even if targets are missed, at least seeing a plan and timescale of what is needed to be done is good.
