Bittrex Global recently announced that they will be winding down their exchange operations. Bittrex holds a lot of PPC, so we’re taking the opportunity to make our community aware of the upcoming shut down via this mass email. According to the linked announcement, all trading will be disabled on December 4th, 2023. After this date, customers will only be able to withdraw their PPC.
The Peercoin Foundation is exploring liquid alternative exchanges that can replace Bittrex, but we have not settled on anything yet. If you happen to have contact with any liquid exchanges and can offer your help, please contact us at foundation@peercoin.net.
Your PPC can be withdrawn to your personal Peercoin wallet. If you don’t have one setup already, check the wallets page for a number of options. If you are interested in minting with your PPC, download the core wallet at the top of the page. You can also try the mobile Flutter wallet, which is supported on iOS, Android and web.
