What do you think about Ypool?

I use ypool with 3 clients now, and I am impressed by there neat Web-Applikation! Well done!

I’am using jhPrimeminer (https://github.com/tandyuk/jhPrimeminer) on linux, its easy to compile!

Can you post instructions on how to compile?

Here is a link to a Linux version (with instructions):

It is version 3.3 and it has been modified in three months. The latest version by rdebourbon is 4.0.

I’m not really sure what version people are referring to when they say they are running jhPrimerminer on Linux, but this is all I’ve been able to find.

Edit: Ugh, my reading comprehension is lacking, I didn’t realize the OP had the same link, anyways, there are instructions on that page.

On the first page of https://github.com/tandyuk/jhPrimeminer is written how to it on ubuntu. I am using mint, and it also should compile on debian:

apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev openssl git libgmp libgmp-dev

git clone https://github.com/tandyuk/jhPrimeminer.git

cd jhPrimeminer

make

on mint I had to use libgmp10 and not libgmp as above.

Happy compiling. And use, if not root:

sudo apt-get install ...

What do I think of them? I’m not ammused lately. :-\

It's not. I've tried both my defaults, what other people were using that worked fine, and my previous settings, across 2 different miner versions, one which was working good, and one which is the latest, and absolutely nothing. ____________ Admin wrote: Could be a problem with your miner settings. I recommend contacting the miner developer. ____________ Glitch wrote: Even using the latest one it was refusing 95% of my shares. ____________ Admin wrote: You always need to use the newest miner version, that might cause the problem. ____________ Glitch wrote: Yes, however, it is invalidating perfectly valid shares for no reason at all. It was working just fine for days on a supported miner, and then all of a sudden it credits me nothing. ____________ Admin wrote: Yep, we do not accept all types of shares. We use the share value system, which works best and is the fairest. ____________ Glitch wrote: It's not the miner, as it was working fine until the pool quit accepting them one morning. rpool also accepts the shares, but they are in desperate need of rebalancing their share weight.

Speaks for itself. tldr, the pool decided it would no longer accept 95% of my shares, and the problem is without a doubt on their end, but they refuse to acknowledge it.

Do you know of any other people having the same issue? Have you tried another computer? You have not said anything that would indicate it wasn’t isolated to just your computer.

I tried ypool again yesterday, for testing, in case the admins needed the data, and it just worked. So neither of us know what the issue is.

Any one have some decent testing between the two?

Beeeer vs Ypool?

One paying more?
