cd means to change directory. Since primecoin.log is a file, you cannot cd to it. The last step, which will show the mining stats, should be:
tail -f /var/log/supervisor/primecoin.log

I am a newbie, I just wanted to know what the purpose of creating additional workers is? Do you get better results? And if so, how many additional workers do you recommend setting up. ps. I was thinking of joining the $20/mth plan.

I optimized the VPS package for mining use and will rent for ~ $100
I have the 4 core version, my Primes/s and my Chains per day just decreased by 50%
My cpu is still in full use all 4 cores.
Whats going on?
Normally get 990 - 1100 primes/s about 0.5 chains a day now it’s 550 - 600 and 0.25 chains a day.

Hi mate problem is that you the minning pools payout is delayed ussually by a day or so and it varies over time. Your best bet is to go back into the terminal and use this command
tail -f /var/log/supervisor/primecoin.log
and see if your making at least 0.4-0.5 chains per day

I have set up 3 servers now on digital ocean following the instructions in this post. But all of them are running at about 50-55% speed (They are set ut with the correct amount of cores).
Is there anything I can do to fix this or find out why they are running slow, or do i just have to rebuild them untill i get lucky and hit a good server?

Rebuild until you no longer require additional pylons.

ami the only one who stopped mining?
i was doing fairly nicely on the monthly $20 option, until mining virtually stopped to a standstill, with 2 droplets at $20 it took me around 5 days to reach a balance of about 2.20 on beeeer with the payout being 3.01 i was loathed to abandon what i previously mined. i ramped up to the $80 droplet and it took about 4 days to get to past the 3.01 payout.
is everyone else still plugging away?
