Proposal for a grant to build a Peercoin dashboard on Alphaday

We’d like to build a Peercoin community dashboard on Alphaday that aggregates Peercoin news, on-chain data, social media, docs and research and much more into one customizable UI.

Why is this important for Peercoin and project description

Market research we conducted in 2021 concluded that crypto users are overwhelmed with information and spend a lot of time jumping from one news source to another, from one social site to another, and usually have dozens of tabs open to stay up to date with everything happening in a community.

We aim to provide a single end-point from which Peercoin users can consume all the information they could possibly want. We would like to create a dashboard that aggregates the following information into a single community dashboard:

  • The latest Peercoin official announcements and blog post content
  • A feed of all news mentions of Peercoin from coindesk, cointelegraph and 20+ other news sources aggregated from across the internet
  • A calendar containing all Peercoin events including Peercoin Governance votes, meetups, hackathons with Peercoin bounties, AMAs
  • Podcast feed containing the latest appearances and interviews given by Peercoin team members
  • Youtube stream containing educational Peercoin content.
  • Peercoin Resources and Documentation
  • Integration with Peercoin Governance Forum to show the latest and trending discussion topics
  • Twitter & Telegram integration to show a feed of latest discussions
  • FAQ, Github repository, PPC tokenomics information
  • Peercoin Careers integration to show the latest open jobs listed
  • Widgets dedicated to Peercoin Projects
  • Peercoin University

Just a long time Peercoin community member here.

Liked what I saw, looks slick, even though personally not a great fan of dark theme, but I know many others are. My question is what are you doing to make crypto-fans believe to make your place one of their key go to places over aggregating that information themselves.

After all there are other sites where you can subscribe to RSS feeds on a single dashboard with widget style information. The advantage of those is that you can also create your own widgets. Something I couldn’t find on your site.

I also couldn’t find another cryptocoin which has taken up your offer. Perhaps you can provide an example. Or information on your site visits/daily users interested in coins beyond just top 10.

Anyway in general I’m not sure whether our community would be able to get the value out of this based on the current information.
