Peercoin Wallets

fuzzy@anonymized.invalid

This is a nice service. I like the bulk wallet service. Will donate.

Is there not one for ppc?

I have raised a few issues on the github repo for the conversion of this to a ppc pretty and fully functioning site, was gonna have a dig in the code later tonight but will probably be tomorrow before I get a chance to edit anything.
This was based off the one sunny king was running off Ppcoin.org but I think it is not the latest with all changes made.

oh ok, well when it is, i’ll be sure to donate. Is there a donation address for overall web/ ppc official wallet development/ code et? If not we need one. Maybe into a bounty of some sort, like btc bounty in peercoin activist section, or into a fund for something.

Thanks by the way for the work FuzzyBear.

All of these are going to be or have been released open source and will come with complete guides on how to set up. These are all part of the peercointalk banner services that I would like to donate to the community. So if anything happens to me, anyone else can take over the forum and server and run all of these services at the same time.
Info on this and donating to this fund can be done here http://donate.peercointalk.org/

There is also a seperate development fund I have set up (give me a day or 2 though b4 u send donations here as i need to update the addresses to new ones) but details for dev fund is here http://development.peercointalk.org/

Can we have an export as pdf option for the bulk wallets? Is this doable?

Hi all,
I’m new to this and would like to understand and learn. I started with bitcoin a couple of months ago and have been slowly learning/understanding. Still pretty new at this. So far, I have a bitcoin blockchain wallet (online) and a litecoin wallet (online)
but don’t really understand the peercoin wallet. Could you please provide a basic rundown for us newbies? It might help others too.
Also, after I have a peercoin wallet, where are good/honest places to exchange bitcoin/litecoin for peercoin?

Thanks,
Rick

Hi and question on paper wallet … I looked at the up and running with peercoin wallet videos and wonder, do I have to have my own computer to download your current peercoin build, so I can use: PJd1oUFxCcWgjYenpWFCMLATHbpkHJ24GR which I generated by going to wallet.peercointalk.org? Or can I give this wallet address out and people can send peercoins here?

thanks again,
Rick :-[

Yes, you can give you wallet address out and receive PPC without having a computer. You won’t see any transactions unless you would look them up in the blockchain. You can’t transfer funds and you can’t mint blocks though.
Sounds like a good savings account for if you want to save for a computer (or anything else) now I think of it.

Just make sure you keep the private key you generated, which is not the same as they key you provided in your email. You should never share the private key as it provides the ability to transfer your funds from any computer by anyone.

Project has been added to Peer4commit

Huge thank you to whoever donated to this project!! should really start getting development moving.

Great way to help improve the code base and services for the community and earn some PPC along the way.

Any problems let me know.

Hi Fuzzy,

I know you are really busy these days and I sure appreciate what you have done with porting this software to Peercoin.

But, I still can not get your software to Generate key/address pairs under the “Bulk Wallet” tab. And also I can’t get it to Generate pairs under the “Paper Wallet” tab when the “Hide Art” box is checked.

The similar software at http://tizop.com/peercoin.htm is working in these two ways.

So, far as I can tell your software, the tizop software and brainwallet.org are all generating reliable results for Peercoin when they do generate them.

Best to You,

NewMoney

Hi mark-bl,

Those two features are now working for me. Thank you very much and I applaud you.

I will send you some Peercoin later today or tomorrow.

I think you are going to be very popular around here. Guys with talent usually are

You probably already know about this but just in case you don’t: there is a new blockchain explorer recently created by another talented guy that is first and foremost for Peercoin but also operates on Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin. It has some cool specific Peercoin stuff like identifying PoS blocks and coinage destroyed, etc. It is located at: bkchain.org

Thanks Again,

NewMoneyEra

New features implemented many thanks to the request that got it rolling
sandakersmann Would be really nice to have BIP38 implemented on http://wallet.peercointalk.org/ 12 October 2014 23:15
