@peerboybox have you checked your connection count again since? On some routers it works automatically.

@shengzhu2 sorry for the slow response, are you able to add in a piece of paper with your forum name and date into the photo of your pi? Thanks

@fluffhead reward sent :slight_smile:

Hello, here’s my fresh node :slight_smile:

ss
While instlaling:

Identifier:
yYL9pjPHmLn9

Edit:

peerbox -autostart wasn’t working properly, gave me error

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/peerbox", line 376, in <module>
    if args.autostart[0].lower() == "tor":
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'lower'

So I had to read the source code, and did run this manually:

sudo systemctl enable ppcoind@pi
sudo systemctl start ppcoind@pi

This is a known bug which was corrected in the source already.

Hi, I setup pi and port 9901 is open, but I still have only 8 connections?
I sure that port 9901 is open, because I checked it on canyousemee.org
What’s wrong?

UPD
Oh, now it’s ok, sorry

Hi,

this is my node:

My identifier: 3z1k2wDL915S

The blocks are updating continously and also the connections are more than 9, but the last line “errors” doesn’t disappear. Does anybody know what the problem is and how to solve it?

It will go away once you are fully synced.

Thanks, I’ll have a look at it when it finished syncing.

But I have another question. When I type in peerbox -addr, I get:

{
    "account": "",
    "confirmations": 0,
    "amount": 0.0,
    "address": "********************"
}

Is it normal that the account is empty? If no, what do I have to do?

Thanks in advance.

I’ve sent your reward, you will get it when you are synced with the network.

I think the default account name is empty.

There’s enough PPC for 5 more rewards at the moment. After that is used up I don’t plan on personally maintaining this project anymore, but am happy to pass it on to someone else. Preferably it would be someone with some existing reputation in the community.

They could keep it the same as it currently is, but would also be welcome to make some changes if they like. They would need to raise more funds though obviously. If anyone is interested then post in this thread, thanks.

Hi, can I get PPC?

Rewards sent to @MaximZ and @korayal , congrats.

Hi. If I have multiple raspberry pis , would I get 10 PPC per pi? I have been getting rpi for various projects for some time and have a few spare to use as peercoin nodes.

@virepz, you will get the reward for one.

Thanks. Save me one reward please. Corrupted my existing install today when upgrading the distro.

Will do a fresh install tomorrow with the latest rasbian image to have a dedicated node.

Happy to contribute to the network!
