Help needed with importing paper wallet

I have set up a test paper wallet, and want to import the contents into my Peercoin desktop client. There is a detailed thread here, but it refers to a console:

My client has no menu option called console

Before I try things on the command prompt, which I have never used before, is there anything else I can try. I downloaded the PPC client about three weeks ago, so assume it is the most up-to-date version. I have Windows XP

Thanks

I think you will find my latest build here will give you the Console in the Qt wallet so you can perform the commands needed

as of writing current version is 0.3.1.2

Any problems please let me know

Thanks for the link. I downloaded and unzipped/extracted the file. It did not open at first, as I had the previous version of PPCoin running, but I closed it down, restarted the computer and the new version opened fine - fantastic

Can you please explain the relationship between Qt-0.3.1.2.zip (Fuzzybear’s Latest Windows) and the soon-to-be-released Client version 0.3.1 (as produced by Sunny King)?

Do we have to choose between them?

Thanks

the latest 0.3.1.2 builds I am doing are headless binaries that any windows users can use of the 0.3.1 code with a few visual changes of PPCoin to Peercoin etc.

Sunnyking has released the 0.3.1 source code, but no binaries yet.

I have made some minor icon updates and wording changes in my 0.3.1.1 and 0.3.1.2 releases… no other changes have been made by me. So the console addition is from sunny kings code, I am just providing the binaries and a little visual update to the wallet for those that can not build their own from source.
