[ANNOUNCEMENT] New Peercoin client called PeercoinOG

#22

Just in case the community is not aware, the following disclaimer was added to the first post of this thread.

DISCLAIMER: PeercoinOG is NOT endorsed by the Peercoin Team or the Peercoin Foundation.

We just want to make sure you understand that you are installing something here that is not supported by the core team or the foundation. This client was created by Sandakersmann alone.

#23

This is a compile it yourself client. I just provide the source code. Personally I don’t know how to compile it on Win or Mac, but it’s no reason why it shouldn’t compile like the official client.

#24

PeercoinOG v0.7.2 is now released :tada:

Changelog:

  • Hardened checkpoint update at block 419368

#25

@sandakersmann, Maybe your road map is right.
Bitcoinsv will remove block size restriction , make block chains more useful.

#26

I don’t believe in BSV.

#27

Can you talk about the views on bsv?

#28

I don’t believe it will scale without the technical improvements that BCH is adding, and BSV does not want to add anything since they want to lock it down as is.

#29

PeercoinOG v0.7.3 is now released :tada:

Changelog:

  • Improve multisig dialog
  • This client is compatible with the Peercoin v0.7.2 client

#30

Are there no executable files?

#31

No. You have to build it yourself.

#32

al that done was fork it and gave it the label OG. And have it announced on this forum , a fork which is actually yet another fork of peercoin like so many other shitcoins

#33

Actually it’s not a fork, it runs on the same network.

#34

PeercoinOG v0.7.4 is now released :tada:

Changelog:

  • Hardened checkpoint update for testnet block 394259 (Non SegWit fork)
  • This client is compatible with the Peercoin v0.7.2 client
