What is Peercoin? (in light of NuBits)

And that is also a great one. Peercoin providing a service based on the value of the blockchain.
It would be great to see Peershares being adopted by others (btw active Peershares developments are in the books for this year) and carve out this unique niche.

So JL is thinking about implementing the voting mechanics of Nu into Peershares for example?
It would be helpful if you had any link that point to any mention of development’s roadmap for Peershares.

There are no roadmaps or people committed to working on it as far as I know, just ideas and long to-do lists. I know that Blackcoin community is looking into it and that there are other people interested in looking into it when more time is available to them (not in the short term).

@cybnate From chatbox, recently: “peerchemist: no, this is will be DAC based on Peershares 09 January 2015 17:50”

Peercoin is a backbone commodity that efficiently distributes Nushares dividends - PPC are then exchangable for Bitcoins.

But why should it make of Peercoin a good investment?

Also, worth to mention here: Peercoin as backend currency for peer side-chains (well, pillow version)
