In your weekly report, there is nothing with peercoin but others news linking with peercoin community, is there nothing to worth of developement or upgradation with peercoin?

Sunny follows the WuWei (无为) principle of development ;D

Peercoin’s development is very slow…

It’s still faster than a lot of alt coins out there coughLTC*cough

Was wondering if Peercoin is also concerned by this:

Is this something we should include in the v0.5 release?

For info: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Common_Vulnerabilities_and_Exposures

This denial of service is likely also affecting Peercoin:

CVE-2015-3641 2014-07-07 Bitcoind and QT prior to 0.10.2 DoS[1] Easy (Yet) Unspecified DoS

Details about the vulnerability will be made available the 7th of July. But my guess is that this is the issue: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/commit/da656068ec1f77591ae8ace78f283eb7cb74e46a (which doesn’t seem to be present in ppcoind).

As a general precaution… If we do not address fixes in time we may face serious DoS attacks on Peercoin’s network. DoS could lead to serious security issues, if an attacker is able to take down nodes that are minting the diff will drastically decrease, giving the attacker opportunities to perform double spending attacks by owning more than half of the minting power.

does this have to do with it?

Just an update here-- I'm delaying this somewhat due to recent network turbulance and unusual attempted DOS attack activity on relayed infrastructure. I've also had some requests from other cryptocurrency implementors to use a somewhat longer horizon here.
