Weekly Update #132

[ul][li]Peermessage now has its own subforum (http://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?board=72.0), known as the peerapps. Congratulations![/li]
[li]Jubi (http://www.jubi.com/) is a popular Chinese exchange recently, and supports both PPC and XPM market with Chinese Yuan.[/li]
[li]Nubits mandatory upgrade release v0.5.4. (Immediate mandatory upgrade: Nu client version 0.5.4 - The Plaza - NuBits Forum)[/li][/ul]

Have fun!

Nubits is no longer part of Peercoin’s ecosystem(dividends, markets).

Why?

Source?

Not sure but are you referring to this motion which passed recently:

lol sorry but this shows users issues with using discourse! can’t find the motion that someone is referencing or referring to. Really glad we stuck with what our users know, trusty old SMF.

Anyway might be this motion https://discuss.nubits.com/t/motion-to-cease-shareholder-funded-nbt-ppc-operations/702/6

Talk of removing PPC NBT trading pair

This is not true.

Nu’s network still distributes dividends in Peercoin (no change to the source code was made to replace it with anything else). Adjustments to supported markets are custodian-driven and if anything, will bring the product in-line with the original design specifications. NBT/PPC markets can continue to organically be supported if anyone would like to trade on them.

I take the alternative view that it isn’t Discouse’s fault in this case. I’ve got no idea what Kac- is referring to, and you can’t find anything about it in a search because there’s nothing to search for that would give you a match for the statement that was made.

If you think SMF works better for you, great. Discourse has been significantly better for our usage, in my experience than the SMF forums I’ve run in the past.

What kac- meant might be what was discussed here https://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=3934.msg37704#msg37704
