virus scanners will freak out over false positives. It’s a regular occurrence. Just have to consult with the virus scanner software developer and they can white list it, shouldn’t be a problem for an open source project

If unsure, best to validate the file with another online virusscanner. The main virusscan providers have services where you can upload a file to have it checked at no cost. Best to have it checked by at least two other virusscan providers to be sure your file is safe or not. As said above it is likely to be a false positive but you can be better safe than sorry.

by momeno usgente but I is not good for a serious set of procedures would be established before launching packages for downloads,
I would say something like …
developers
and finally
check code,
map would be good where the methods used since the code is created until we send the link to download explaining

The reference client windows build is done using gitian-builder, so in theory it can be verified by other developers or anyone attempting the build.
