Team Update #34: Peercoin August Monthly Summary
August was a rather quiet month as the team has been focused on finishing up v0.8 and reaching out to the many wallets, exchanges, mining pools, and services that use Peercoin. We have done our best to alert everybody to the upcoming October 1st, 2019 hard fork, and hopefully there should be little to no disruption to services. Lighting Network testing has also been working successfully on the testnet, and we will provide more updates soon. If you have not already done so, please make sure to upgrade your wallet to the latest version which can be found here: Releases · peercoin/peercoin · GitHub
The current version is v0.8.3. We have updated the AppImage and Docker files as well which can be found below:

Port of Peercoin.net to React.js
@kazzkiq has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on porting our website to React.js which will additionally allow for the implementation of translation! We will keep you updated as this is wrapped up.
That is all for this update! Everything is focused on preparing for the v0.8 release, so stay tuned for more news as we get closer to the October 1st, 2019 hard fork.
