I think we should have one post where any news articles or links etc can be posted that we want to have announced on the social media sites.

If we are going to post on one, we should be posting on the others.

I posted this on the ppcoin Facebook page.

We currently have 7,001 members. I just found out that the City of London, England actually only has 7,325 residents (the metropolitan area has untold millions).

When we break 7,325 I’m going to tweet that we now outnumber London. Tongue in cheek, but attention-grabbing. Might be good to put on Facebook too to draw some eyeballs.

I have just created a LinkedIn group called Peercoins. I often see more business minded people in LinkedIn and investors so I feel this is an important area for us to expand and post in.

I will see if I can cross post some infor there from the forum, but registration is open to the group so feel free to join :slight_smile:

Who owns “peercoin” account on Twister? I see it is blank, if you have no time to maintain it I want to take over. Pm me.

If you mean twitter.com/Peercoin , that’s been cyber-squatted by the same group that is currently squatting peercoin.com (and re-directing it to litecoin.org). Not much we can do about that currently.

no there is an alternative to twitter called twister, and yes if they want to maintain that would be good

I’m only adding one Twitter announcement a day to the newer Twitter page I put up. I came across this and I think the discussion about the 51% attack thread is great to get it out there.

Since nobody seems to be using this thread to report news, I’m going to unsticky it and replace it with something else later. I can keep up with the news right now anyway. In the future though it might be more difficult. We’ll bring it back if it’s needed.
