Ok - I have to accept defeat - I have managed to set up solo mining…this is what I am getting;

…so I think that I am trying to mine something…no joy yet.
I thought that maybe I would be better off in a pool and tried to get that sorted but I have no idea how to input the required commands into whichever files/windows etc …
Therefore I need a very basic guide to pool mining i.e. do this…click here…open this file…input this text… yada yada yada.
I maybe the wrong side of 50 but I strongly believe that the crypto currencies are our future but in order for me to convince others of my generation (- please bear in mind that when I was at school a calculator was considered state of the art - ) I need to be able to demonstrate how to become part of the new world.
