This is a great project basically because it is for ecology and second because it doesn’t have a deflationary system built in!
The proper name for this coin is either ECOcoin or GREENcoin.
Please think about renaming project!

If anything Ecoin (ECO) sounds better than Ecocoin.
I agree that the name should be changed. I don’t think the market would be confused at all if enough advance notice was given. A name change would also create some much needed buzz. This is a great product and the name is not good enough for it. How about ProCoin?
I saw Sunny posted a ppc accepted here logo on bitcointalk other day
imho the actual coin needs a bit of work, ppcoin logo fine
i think a goldcoin like bitcoin but with 2 green p’s merged, but different to paypal obviously
rather than the clover or whatever it is all over it
what does anyone else think?

I was thinking make the coin gold, and have the lettters, mainly one p with a shadow of a p behind of 2 p’s jones in middle so to emphasise the p to p elemement and also the green element of coin an top of coin
or a green coin with the original ppcoin logo in gold on top
I am sure Sunny would want to keep the original pp logo and strange he hasn’t used as is on wallet and on net, allbeit rough looking

however please understand in the online world ppc has pretty much one meaning pay per click and thats a negative connotation
ppcoin is just dandy and is about as short as can be and memorable
I’m actually going to work on some logos a and an additional info site and point to this forum and official site links
however I must say, I really think Sunny should visit this site more than bitcointalk or at least sometimes
also be nice if FuzzyBear would pop in at least daily to answer questions
as you can see the spam threads building selling jumk
I ran a forum before and its not easy you have to be on top of it, leave for a couple days and the hackers will destroy it and spam to kingdom come!

Hey Guido,
Many thanks for your posts and concerns… I have been far to busy recently i’m afraid and was wanting to get the server migration done which i have now… but looks like the spam bots have found me… and i’m still getting to grips with the forum so it may take me a little while, but I am gonna make sure i pop in here at least once a day from now to answer questions and keep the boards clean…
have tried to set permissions on the forums so you will need to post in the newbie section in order to raise yourself to junior member as that seems to work for bitcointalk and keeps spam posts to one thread…
Also any volunteers for moderators are always welcome

I see no issue with the ppcoin name. If people aren’t able to take it seriously and just think of “pee pee” all the time when the coin comes up then they aren’t really someone to worry about anyway.
Other than maybe bitcoin, I’d say ppcoin has the best name of them all with “Peer to Peer Currency”
Just take a look at some of these pump and dump coins, Franko? Chinacoin? Junkcoin?.. how can anyone take these seriously. I suppose they have a little value for all the early bird miners but more than likely they will be buried and forgotten with time.
The official name is Peer to Peer coin. PPC is its “ticker”.
PPCoin is just fine, the name could even be dominant on the market, unlike Altcoin, the name of the whole thing suggests it’s alternate to some other big currency. What if Altcoin becomes the largest cryptocurrency?
