Peercoin Website Draft

Threw this together today. PPCoin needs a really nice website, but I think this can serve as a good placeholder in the meantime. Love some feedback:

Here are some additional website ideas that I could do later.

Looks promising to me 8)

So you’re saying we should throw up a temporary website until we get something nice designed for us? I agree. Anything is better than what we have now. We could put something like this up now and once the logo has been chosen, we can figure out what we’re going to do.

If everyone is happy with it I can have to ready today. If people have ideas we can just put them up as they are suggested. Who is running the ppcoin.org site?

Sunny King runs the website, but one thing is we can’t use that logo unless it wins the contest.

top right hand corner would be nice to have stats of the network health… current block, difficulty, network hashrate, current block reward etc

This is a good start! And yeah relevant stats would be nice as FuzzyBear suggested.

Needs a cleaner more professional look. Too much green, green in the background is enough.

Use some other colors.

I’m a web developer and I’d be happy to help build out the site. I could throw it together on top of a cms like Drupal so we can add lots of features easily through modules if needed.

I would rather the temp site have a white background with some green in it rather than the other way around.

That looks pretty good, good job man!

Totaly agree with this, would give the site a really pro look, and informative wich is also very important to bring new miners into the scene!

Looks familiar doesn’t it?

Hey don’t want to step on anyone’s toes so feel free to ignore this post but I’m also a web developer / designer. Can i put a link in here? Flag me if not www.hireahenchman.co.nz I’d be well happy to help design / code / host. I’ve got a content manager I built that’s pretty good and robust which would allow someone else to take over and keep the site updated.

Also I was thinking of making a wee project to make a PPCoin iphone app since i don’t see one at the moment? Most of the pools have an API so thought I might make use of that.

Looks familiar doesn’t it?[/quote]That’s because I run elacoin.org, but since that is a dead coin figure no one will mind, especially since would just be temporary.
