As Peercoin is becoming more popular I think we should have a thread dedicated to wallet/peercoin security. I think hackers will start targeting peercoin sites more often and we should dedicate some resources to security development and education of Peercoin security to all users. If we can get Peercoin more secure as community, I think in a long run Peercoin will not only be energy saver but also a better choice for new comers who wiould want a piece of mind while they conduct their crypto transactions.
A cold wallet PoS minting will be an important step but maybe community will have other ideas to make the coin better.
