The latest Peercoin release includes a “protocol adjustment required for future p2pool support.” Does this mean that p2pool mining of Peercoin can occur now? If so, I have yet to find any publicized nodes. I have looked into hosting my own public node; however forrestv doesn’t offer a template for Peercoin and I can’t figure out exactly how to adapt the configuration files. I am considering starting a Peer4Commit project to get this going, but I would like to hear from more knowledgeable sources whether p2pool is even possible for Peercoin yet.
Indeed, Peercoin does not need p2pool for blockchain security, but I still like the principal of decentralization in all regards!
