Peercoin on Raspberry Pi

Is the 10PPC bounty still open?

It was two days ago

Number of active full nodes still going up, some kind of Nubits effect?

Yes

Awesome, I have ordered my Pi B+ today, I should receive it next weekend!

That’s terrific news. I can’t wait to see you win your bounty! ;D

:))

Like many others, I am very enthusiast about the Peerbox project. And I wish to support the PPC network with h24 nodes ;). So, it was more to say that this PPC community and great initiatives to promote PPC pushed me to buy a Pi. ::slight_smile:

Thireus - I know exactly how you feel! I bought this Pi specifically so I could try out Peerbox and add another stable node to the network.

Here it is!

Please send my tip to Peerchemist (PQWgU11MQPPXcdtyVxAGkoQR4MyxZDPy1E) for making it all so simple. Thanks!

Congratulations learnmore! Tip sent to peerchemist as requested

Hi to all, i am new to this forum so i want to ask you can i setup Peercoin node on server that is running 24/7/365?

Hi denyzabac, yes you can. If you don’t want to have a PPC wallet and if it is strictly to support the PPC network, I would recommend ppcd: GitHub - mably/ppcd: An alternative full node peercoin implementation written in Go (golang)
It is very easy to install.

It sure is okay. Is this a Windows server? Exotic!

Yep ;D Windows server 2008 with 5 KWh UPS and 20MBit optical network ;D
