Peercoin Now Officially Supported by Ledger Nano S!

Official Ledger Support

While Peercoin developers have unofficially supported the Ledger Nano S for about a year now, it has never been officially recognized by Ledger. Today though, we are happy to announce that Peercoin has been added to the Ledger Manager App and is now officially supported by the Ledger Nano S. Ledger has confirmed this on Twitter here. Installation instructions are available on Ledger’s website here.

What is Ledger Nano S?

Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet, based on robust safety features for storing cryptographic assets and securing digital payments. It connects to any computer (USB) and embeds a secure OLED display to double-check and confirm each transaction with a single tap on its side buttons.

I know I’ve asked this before somewhere, but people surely would like to know: will this mint?

No it won’t mint, this is just a hardware wallet. When multisig minting is implemented it can participate in the minting process though.

It seems they didn’t updated the website coin list yet, though.
