I’d recommend we keep a running list of Peercoin myths and then create an FAQ based around these fallacies. As a community, I believe it’s important that we address our critics in a consistent manner. To address this in the FTC community, I created videos here:
1. Peercoin offers no useful technical advancement from Bitcoin.
2. Peercoin is designed to allow the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor
3. PPCoin has checkpoints, unlike Bitcoin.
to start answering them:
PPCoin addresses the power consumption of Bitcoin’s system, with introducing PoS, to secure the network without the need for unlimited petahashes.
