OpenBazaar

I’m not sure that we’ve a thread to track OpenBazaar and Peercoin. So, I figured I’d start one here by posting this:

Bitcoin comes first though, but we will try and have all-coin support by RC1 at the end of the year. Rule of thumb: if the altcoin can support multisignature transactions, it will integrate with OB easily.

It would be kind of cool to be able to buy some peercoins for bitcoins on OpenBazaar.

Has anyone achieved more than two connected stores?

I also can’t get items displayed in those stores. It just keeps loading.

Same problem here, in the debug window, it says that it cannot reach the server

I’ve not been able to get it to run either. I have some issues with the database or something like that. I re-installed my OS, but no improvement. I’ll probably wait a little bit to let the source code mature somewhat before I try again.

You have to forward a port in order to browse a shop.

I saw they posted on their reddit the othet days that they are sick of
altcoiners asking for support.

News on the Open Bazaar project. They’ve now received funding:

Unfortunately they’ve turned more hostile over time, towards everything that isn’t bitcoins. Maybe it could change in the future, who knows.

i see the name Horowitz in every investment in crypto universe!
is it just me? :))

Indeed, he is like very diversified in his investments. I think it might sense to help kick-off what could be the first instance of a “legal Silk Road” where people are buying and selling in bitcoins NOT via bitpay.
