The Peercoin Team and Sigmike, the owner and operator of the website, have decided in a recent meeting to permanently close Peer4commit. This is being done for a number of reasons.
The website is rarely used for fundraising anymore. Sigmike would personally like to wind down its operation. Also most relevant, the Peercoin Foundation has effectively replaced its role in funding projects. As a result, we see no reason in keeping the website online any longer.
We request that anyone holding funds there to withdraw them immediately. The website will shut down on September 21st. Any remaining funds left on the platform will be considered abandoned and donated to the Peercoin Foundation. Thanks for understanding!
