This hasn’t been posted on the forum yet, so in case anyone doesn’t know, a new SWARM is going on at the moment. A swarm is an action item that is posted and the community helps out in completing the task, whether it’s emailing an exchange, posting in a thread, helping out on a project, etc… We haven’t done one since 2013. Here is the next target…
SWARM Target = Kraken
Kraken is an online exchange that does not currently carry Peercoin. Please tell them very politely why they should carry Peercoin and why it would be valuable for them to offer it. You can send a message to them using their support form here…
I think people have been receiving that same reply for months. At least this will show them there is demand for Peercoin to be added, even though it might take them a while to implement.
The Kraken support answered my request swiftly (within 2 hours!), but only with a generic message:

Hi,
Thanks for asking. We don't have any plans to add any other digital currencies at the present time. We're open to adding more currencies in the future, but every currency we add first has to go through a lengthy process of evaluation. For example, in the case of Namecoin, we found a serious bug in the protocol during our evaluation process.

The bug was of course fixed before we allowed trading in Namecoin on our exchange. This evaluation process takes valuable time away from other important development projects, and at the present time we can't spare the resources needed to add a new currency.
Best,
Joe

Dear Sir or Madam,
it has come to my attention that Kraken has been audited with regards to the reserves and has passed this audit with flying colours.
That makes me want to trade at your exchange but I'm currently most interested in Peercoin, which unfortunately seems to be not supported by kraken.
Is Peercoin trading only hidden somewhere?
If not, do you have plans in implementing Peercoin trade?
Kind regards

Thanks for including us in your project, and thanks for asking about Peercoin.

Hi, I am currently running an arbitrage application and fund that trades on Bitstamp and BTCe. I’m in the process of adding Kraken. I’m adding the trading pairs BTC/EUR and LTC/EUR at present.
It would be great if you added Peercoin to your list of trading pairs as the Peercoin volume on BTCe is consistently high and it’d be great to add a 3rd trading pair.
if anything what the reply from Kraken is doing is making more people aware that namecoin had serious bug in its core code!! Thus highlighting the need for active and good developers on any crypto currency these days…
“Thanks for responding. If there is anything you need from us on the development side to make it easier for you to implement (Some sort of wrapper or API, etc…) please let me know. I have Sunny’s ear and can get your needs across to the community. Thanks again!”
and his response…
“Thank you for getting in touch. I’ll let the team know that we’ve had this chat. Have a good weekend.”
