My views on PPC and XPM

I posted this in XPM thread, but want it here in the PPC camp as well.

I think Sunny’s strategy is sound, very sound

The new prime hash system, will force a wedge into the LTC/BTC duopoly, and provide a bridge to PPC.

Further No other coin system has this tandem approach were XPM is a bridge to PPC. This is going to be hard for single house coins to combat. BTC nor LTC DEV’s can really say here is a road map to the future in this way, they can’t go and develop another coin. If anything BTC and LTC may have to adopt PPC features in the future.

The only thing that may be required is Sunny some how make his DEV team a bit larger…I’m not sure who if anyone else is in it at the moment…maybe Fuzzy Bear of forum and Marketing…

Having seen the work SK has been able to do on other coins, leads me to believe he has spare capacity, and that is why he has been able to develop XPM.

SK obviously dreams in cryto C++ code by now, and so is bursting with ideas and innovation.

I think we are seining some reaction to this in PPC price already

This paradigmatic change, not just in hash, but how coins operate with coins, sorta like using mixed troops in starcraft, every one has been using land, PPC gives us air superiority/new tech , XPM gives us land that can transform to Air power, with upgrades.

The others just have marines (SHA) and fire bats (Scrypt)…and they need to many depots to support (build additional pylons)

Yeah i’[m keen to get more involved in the actual code and would love to join the official dev team for PPC… though my time greatly required by many things at the moment (but is starting to settle down with a few projects coming to a finish)

Also I really need to learn more c++ code… I am predominantly a C# coder, but have some experience with python and php and other languages so just need to be able to dedicate some time to it and familiarize myself more with the code… it all there (open source is the best) just needs my time which I am trying to free up!!

You’re overly optimistic. PPC price is rising because of ASICs and the PPC difficulty algorithm. If you look at some my my previous posts on Bitcointalk in the PPC forum I predicted that PPC would fall approximately to 10 cent and then bottom before rising up once ASICs ship. I’ve been on point and PPC was rising before Primecoin was announced.

Primecoin is definitely interesting and I will mine it but it will rise independently of PPC.
