Mining on an i7 - need a better cpu fan

hi

I mine on my working i7 4 core cpu.

But if I use more then 1 core, BIOS peeps, because the cpu gets to hot.

Any Idea for a good cpu fan?

i have a corsair H60 with a nice fan on the radiator

Couldn’t agree more with the Corsair recommendation. Once you go water cooling, you won’t go back to air.

As suggested, I was going to order an corsair H60. But then I saw the noise level!

I work in an office, so the fans are quite hearable, so I will buy a Noctua NH-U12P SE2, an non water cpu fan.

If you are beeping with just 1 core running then their is a issue with your heatsink.

Make sure it is seated properly and that you have adequate thermal paste.

I also had a to carefull bios setting, peeping at 50 degree C, I changed this to 70 C…

But anyway I need a fan, its on the way…
