Marketing Effort Starting Nov 5th

Marketing Effort Starting Nov 5th

  1. We’ll have the Coindesk article posted Nov 5th

  2. Press release will be sent out after the article is posted

  3. The email (which will have the PR attachment) will also have a reference to the Coindesk article to our large mailing list

  4. I will also spend ~$100 on blasting it out to publications/radio:

  5. Targeted swarms during the week

  6. We’ll start hitting Sci-Fi sites with the Trekcon announcement

Some questions:

1. How big of a website is CoinDesk in the crypto community? Just wondering how many people we’ll be able to reach with this article.

2. What should our emails say? Should we include links back to the website and the forum? Maybe we should mention we’re looking for volunteers.

3. I’m assuming we’ll be using the large PR email list here: http://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=606.0

4. Will a swarm be sent out for us to email all the media on that list? If so, is there an easy way of doing this, rather than sending one email out at a time? I’m sure there will be a lot more follow through if it can be made easier to email all these addresses.

  1. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/coindesk.com

Nice traffic for a crypto site. More importantly, we’ll use that article as a way to show other publication we’re important enough to be written about.

  1. Still working through this in my head

  2. Not only that list but hiring a service to hit the newspapers, radio etc…

  3. In outlook, you can create lists. We need to eventually clean up the system, just a matter of lack of time right now.

coinDesk is pretty big; and is almost always reposted to Reddit->will be sure to swarm the reddit comments as there are always some new readers on there.

Also; lets repeat swarm #1 (BTCchina) with the other smaller chinese exchanges (OKpay, FXBTC) as they have just recently added litecoin; a good sign as PPC is next.
