Their forum spammed, Twitter account no message.

I have not been keeping up on updates from them, but I know their forum has always been rather slow. Maybe they just haven’t noticed the spam yet. Does lclc still visit our forum? He’d be able to let us know what’s going on.

Looks like Monetas, the company behind OT, posted a message yesterday on their blog about Bitstamp outage:

At Monetas, we are building software that prevents blockchain thefts. By storing bitcoins and colored coins (used for state currencies like dollars, euros, etc) in Monetas voting pools, we can make it impossible for any given server to steal the coins.

Maybe I can comment on that on a later day. Nothing too exciting and I often start project but seldom finish them :S ^^

Justus Ranvier cleaned the forum and deleted all accounts with 0 posts (so you might have to re-register).
Registration is now a bit stricter and I got mod status so I can keep it clean too.
Regarding OT news: The guys are working on switching to Snorr-Signatures and libsodium, which is (IMO) better than openSSL and the hashing mix we used to have. I’m still reviewing and helping out with smaller things but not full-time anymore.
