Do you mean the installer doesn’t start on your machine, or peerunity doesn’t start after you’ve installed it?
Do you get an error message?

Question, im see the Peercoin blockchain wallet works fine (https://peercoin.mintr.org/wallet/overview), now im asking me why is security for loging so low…

Hi [member=32970]miga[/member] ,

That wallet is not officially supported.
It’s very unsafe if you ask me. All private keys are stored server side.
https://multicoins.org/ is more secure, but still not optimal.

Expect better thin client wallets to be released in the near future.

[member=32827]hrobeers[/member] Thank you ver mouch for share exp and for feedback for near future

We should let the exchanges and service providers to update to latest binaries.

We would need the core client to be released first, as I’m sure they don’t use Peerunity.

I run with glv’s peerunity build on my 32bit win7 and it worked without a hitch.

most services peraps are best to run the official client (unless e.g. coincontrol is needed)

We would need the core client to be released first, as I’m sure they don’t use Peerunity.[/quote]

They moust update it, im cant withdraw my coins from pool when exchanges not update the last binerys and im think peercoin need more active workers for updateing special for things like that when we become fork and in this case we need somebody for this to give feedback to exchanges, pools and for users.

Peercoin 0.5.4 release has been cut, official builds completed and will be ready shortly.

Peercoin v0.5.4 official windows build is now available:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ppcoin/files/0.5.4/ppcoin-0.5.4-win32-setup.exe/download

I can confirm this sha256sum for ppcoin-0.5.4-win32-setup.exe:

92f36c2fc23a9202a23fef5f18c2a161e92d4bc81a5be49c41e6597b2868fc8a

it works here after a clean install
