If Peercoin ever reach $1000 what would happen to the 0.01 fixed fee?

Everything is in the title I guess…

This has been discussed before, and opinions are varied. Some people say that the fee should stay 0.01 PPC, because Peercoin is meant to be a backbone currency, not for day-to-day transactions. Others say that the fee should not grow in real terms, in order not to stifle transactions.

Without a hard fork, the fee would stay 0.01 PPC.

Thank you for the link Chronos! I should have done my research before posting.

Depending on whether peercoin price increases because of or despite the 0.01 PPC fee.
