I love the idea of Datacoin but I haven’t seen an acceptable answer to “what happens when someone uploads something like child porn to the blockchain?” yet.
My problem with data coin is that the amount of data you can store is too small to be very practical (in my opinion) but also the block chain is too large to scale.
If I wanted to store a few K on a distributed network I really don’t want to download a several hundred gig block chain.

I would recommend NoFiatCoin-XNF a crypto currency backed by actual bullion, gold and silver coins that can be redeemed at any time at anywhere. I found that NoFiatCoin-XNF is indeed only crypto currency which is backed by gold and silver coins. This looks very exciting and probably people like me looking for some back up and credibility should try it.
