How much is Peercoin being shorted at BTC-e?

Only leave your coins on a trading platform if you want to trade. Otherwise keep them in a cold place, definitely not on a trading platform.
Actually storing FIAT on a trading platform is even worse. :-/

BTC-E is not doing POS minting.

You’ve just shown an added advantage for more exchanges to actually carrry Peercoin. Could be a selling point to an exchange that hasn’t thought of that idea yet to get them to start carrying the PPC ticker.

By the name “arbitrageur”, sounds like they are getting into your market space by selling minted coins to their own customers, for that I apologize. :frowning:

Until cold PPC POS minting will be implemented, trading exchanges won’t perform POS minting for obvious security reasons.

While ago some addresses with 20,000 PPCs came out to mint for a few days. The total was like 2 million. The addresses were last active a few months when they had been charged from large active addresses. It was plausible to explain this as an exchange getting its off-line wallet out minting.
