Going to Purchase PPC but I have a OSX Mac

I have a issue. I gonna buy like 20 PPC from BTC-e but I have a OSX Mac. I believe john has a test build peercoin-QT for OSX. Is stable enough for my PPC? I very reluctant to put my hard earned money into a test build wallet not yet finalized. I downloaded Linux virtually for parallels and had no luck time syncing linux (ubuntu) because peercoinn-Qt will not work until that is fixed. I am not able to get a windows OS because of cost. I need some options.

I’ve been running the Mac wallet for a couple of weeks now without a problem. While I can’t assure you 100% that there aren’t issues, I can say that I haven’t run into anything that has made me uncomfortable and I trust it to store my PPC.

I can always retrieve my coins (if something did go wrong) from wallet.dat file as a last resort right?

I’ve had no problems with the OS X wallet. I’m running 10.9.

Definitely. Keeping backups is a good idea, in general. On my Mac Mini (10.9), I’ve never had it crash, throw an error, or behave in a way I didn’t expect.

Alright Ben, I will make back ups.
