Kind of doom n gloom n gold propaganda, but I actually think the idea of having alternative methods of digital payment aka crypto currencies is kind of an obviously good thing here. Imagine when big banks have an unannounced bank holliday and the cryptos just keeps running along. I actually think it could happen and it will be horrific and awesome at the same time.
