Someone just posted in chat that ‘peercoin.com’ is pointing towards ‘litecoin.org’ (I’ve checked and it is).
Looks like the registrar information was updated on the 24th Jan to move the domain to ‘Go Daddy’ at which point the registrant turned private rather than being the ‘DomainHood’ company (who are cyber squatters).
I’m guessing someone in the Litecoin community bought the domain and pointed it at themselves.
Luckily it doesn’t seem to register in Google when you search for ‘Peercoin’ and shouldn’t get ranked very highly due to poor keyword content for ‘Peercoin’ but it still quite annoying!
