Chinese Exchange Initiative

Chinese Exchange Initiative

Ideas

  1. Contact information for all 6 exchanges
  2. Do we each want to write a custom email from each person and then have it translated into Chinese
  3. What information should we include?
  • Coinmarketcap?
  • 90 days averages?

I’m in favor of being very up front that we are contacting every Chinese exchange, and that we already have some interest. If the exchanges think that their competitors are adding a product, they will be far more inclined to as well.

And yes, market cap and prices are two big things. Exchanges operate on a transactional incentive basis. They care about processing high volumes of valuable coins, and Peercoin is heading in the right direction on both those issues.

I agree. Who would like to lead the charge?

I’ll put some information together for this and try to put forward a compelling argument (probably use the BTC-E volumes as a basis)

Do you have a list of all six Chinese exchanges and the coins they list?

There are so many exchanges here in China, and I list some of them as following:

  1. BTCChina
  2. OKCoin
  3. BTCTrade
  4. HuoBi
  5. Bter
  6. FXBTC
  7. BTC38
  8. chbtc
  9. BTC100.org

Here’s the post I was watching:

Thanks Guys,

By the way BTC-E said they had no plans to list PPC/USD at the moment but thanked us for our interest.

They are insane. If you use the trollbox archive, you’ll see the actual dev said they were considering it. Emailing support it’s nice to keep our name out there, however, I would never trust them. Support also told me XPM was not being considered… days later, added.
