I came across a project called “Open Sesame” in 2010, where I personally saw QR-Code based logins with a remote device for the first time.
It fascinated me and everyone I showed this to.

If you have an Android device, you can use BitID Authenticator on Google Play. It’s open-source, so you can make any changes if you need to make it compatible.

I also extended the BitID protocol to support JWT to make it more extendable. You can see how this is done in BitID Authenticator
