Backup wallet

Do I have to backup nubits and nushares wallets separately or are they both included in the same wallet?

They are in different wallets:
walletB.dat and
walletS.dat

Recommended way to back them up is to use the Nu client (File -> Backup Wallet); remember to switch the Nu client context and back up both wallets!

Alternatively you can copy them on file system level (from the appropriate application data folder; depending on operating system), but may receive corrupted files if the Nu application is writing into the file while you are copying it.</NOT RECOMMENDED>

Ok thanks, that’s what I suspected. I think in future versions it should be indicated at the GUI level because otherwise mistakes are bound to happen.

Although you have ready had the ansewer, here are some discussion on the same topic http://discuss.nubits.com/t/any-interrelation-between-wallets-and-walletb/435/5?u=mhps
