I tried setting up a friends AMD 8350, sitting in a good MB with good RAM.
Just registers 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0…
Mining in ypool.net with jprimeminer
Tried 16, 17, 17v8, 17v8-AVX
That computer hates prime numbers.
Any ideas?

How long did you wait for a share? ypool only accepts 7 chains or larger, you probably will only get a few of them an hour. My AMD 8320 only finds 2.4 chains an hour, that’s one every 24 minutes.
Cool thanks.
Not sure how long I left it.
I’ll go over and try to get it going again tonight.
Thanks,
JM
i am using AMD FX8230 on cheap Ram/Mobo.
average = 0.4~0.6XPM/day
1500~1600primes/s 0050 chains/day
Using XoloMiner ~
If you don’t want to wait so long till you find a 7ch you can give candypool a try.
We still accept 6ch

OMG what? Something must be very wrong with my installations then.
We let his run for a full day, and it has like 0.04632700 Unconfirmed XPM
I have also borged another friends computer, an A10, with AVX and it’s only gotten like 0.01 XPM after several days.
It has to be me, as these are different computers, different places and they are getting left on. Not turned off.
I gave up on Primecoin cause of the numbers. I am only keeping my one computer running out of pure stubborness to get to 1 XPM. It’s at .75 after two weeks.
