When I find a plugin I can put on my wordpress sites to take Primecoin as payments for products and consulting services, then you will see real enthusiasm.

Is something wrong? I try mine other altcoins using the same method with no problem.
I’ve given it a minute after starting, but it sits on zero.
I have an i7-3820, it’s a pretty awesome chip, it should do okay right?
Is there a gotcha I might have missed?

Why so much swing ?

As for now im trying to mine at setgenerate true -1 but i tried at 7 core, 8 core, etc. I once got 3000+ pps, but not still able to get it.

Please help before i just giveup

Mining, even when in pools, is still somewhat random. Sometimes you get lucky and find 8- or 9-chains, other times you don’t find any chains at all or just 7-chains.

Is your chains/day varying a lot too? PPS is supposedly an outdated measure now.

It is meant to be random. It follows the distribution of prime number chains. I think you can estimate it mathematically.

Here are the statistics from my old wallet. This is from 16 cores working when the difficulty was much lower. So you are doing pretty well at the moment. The difficulty has now risen above 10, making it much more difficult to earn any coins.

after few hours i’m still stucked at 0 primespersec, primecoin is synced and is using processor almost 100%
Is my i3 THAT slow for mining or i’m doing something wrong?
